6. Tonkatsu Marugo (丸五)

If you are out in Akihabara and you feel like enjoying tonkatsu (pork cutlet), then you need to stop by Tonkatsu Marugo.

Here, you can expect to wait in line to get inside, but you will never be disappointed. While the shop itself might not look like much from the outside, you can expect from incredible food and a great experience.

7. Yamano (やまの)

Now that you know you are going to get wagyu here, you should know that this restaurant isn’t going to come cheap.

Here, the food is excellent quality, and despite the small size of the restaurant itself (only 17 seats), you will only get the best of the best.

You can try offal, beef sashimi, BBQ lunches, and so much more if you choose to visit this intimate spot.

8. Pinafore (ぴなふぉあ)

Here we have another fantastic maid café that you will not want to miss. It’s colorful and cute, with a fun and carefree atmosphere.

Your servers will be dressed up in maid costumes, and you can enjoy omelettes, ramen, bacon potato, drinks, and much more. The restaurants even hold events and concerts, so you can expect it to be very busy sometimes!

9. Kanda Yabu Soba (かんだやぶそば)

Craving salty soba? This is a spot you will need to check out, because it won’t disappoint. The restaurant opened back in 1880, and has stuck true to the beautiful traditional Japanese design.

When you visit this restaurant, you will instantly feel its connection to the past, and there isn’t an experience like it. 

10. Motenashi Kuroki (饗 くろ喜)

When in Japan, you can never get away from ramen, and you should never want to! Motenashi Kuroki offers some of the best ramen in the city, and it is constantly evolving.

The chef has a gourmet background, and will always give you more than you are expecting. 

This is a relatively new shop, only opening in 2011, but it has worked hard to become one of the most popular ramen spots in Akihabara. If you ever find yourself nearby, stop by!
