There are many chances to enjoy bathing at this park. The facilities include three which are open-air – one for men and two for women.

The men and women’s open-air bathing experience is very similar. You are surrounded by rocks and natural looking scenery.

There is also a bath you can lie down in which will make you feel at home. However, there are also jets of water too, similar to a hot tub.

Or there is the lukewarm bath. This one provides you with water that isn’t either too hot or too cold. However, if you are after a silky bath, then you will enjoy the one that has tiny bubbles.

It is said to increase your circulation and remove dirt from the pores.

Unique Sauna

The sauna is great for those looking to relax without being submerged into water. Or, if you want to relax even further.

In this sauna you are made to relax while lying on top of a rock which is heated. This is said to remove negative energy. The rocks here have negative ions and far-infrared rays.

You can also play arcade or traditional Japanese games. The arcade gaming area is exactly what you expect. It includes the gaming machines, as well as the ability to win plushies.

Yes, you must wear a Yukata with an Obi at Oedo Onsen Monogatari. A Yukata is a traditional item of clothing that looks similar to a kimono. However, it is much thinner and made from cotton.

It is also used in bath houses to soak up water from the skin.

An Obi is the belt that you wear to keep the Yukata in place. It is worn by both men and women. In this theme park you get to choose the design you would like to wear. 

There are also posters in the changing room which help you wear it correctly.

What Is The Process At Oedo Onsen Monogatari?

It might seem daunting at first when you arrive at the theme park. With so much on offer, you might not know where to begin.

Once you arrive, head to the reception. Here you will need to check-in. You will also receive a key for your changing room locker. You will also need to remove your shoes and keep them in a separate locker.

Once the above is done, you will then want to go to Echigoya. This is where you pick out a rental Yukata and Obi. Men go on one side, and women on the other. 

Once you have chosen your yukata, you will head to the changing rooms. The red curtain is the women’s changing rooms, and the blue curtain is the men’s changing rooms. 

Once changed and the locker is secured, you can then begin exploring the facilities. Don’t forget to wear your key wristband at all times!

How To Visit Oedo Onsen Monogatari?

It is very easy to get to Oedo Onsen Monogatari by train. You will want to take a train that heads to Telecom Center Station. Once there, you need to exit from the south side.

Once you have exited the station, it will then take you two minutes to arrive at your destination on the left. You can’t miss it!
