You just have to place the Mochi itself on a microwavable style of plate, cover it with plastic film, then set it aside. Then, you turn the power on, wait for it to heat up, and take it off immediately.

The key here is to keep checking the Mochi every 30 seconds or so. If you overcook them, they will become mushy and lose their shape. Overcooking is easy to notice – they will start melting and exploding.

Using A Frying Pan
